To Activate DND Service on Airtel and Stop Unwanted calls from Airtel, Just send text message “START DND” and send it to 121. Works both for prepaid as well as post-paid customers of Airtel and landlines too.
Vodafone
Send text message “ACT DND” to 111 in order to block unwanted promotional calls/sms from Vodafone
Idea/Tata Indicom/Tata Docomo/Reliance(GSM&CDMA),BSNL
For the rest of these mobile network providers, just send a sms message “START DND” and send it to 1909.
Note that It normally takes around 45 days for the activation of DND Services. If you still receive such calls after that period, the telemarketer will be punishable.
